CHAPTER 21 : All the alleged Hyena Crips “Conspiracies,Events & Theories” Debunked
As we been documenting the out of nowhere Hyena crips online madness cause by Leader of the “Gang” Tinyjoker aka Syxx, the purported Crip & there conspiracies & theories since 2024. This is all personal observation from me & many others Detroit native no official source needed as this is general knowledge.
Hyena Crips claims to never have Ties to (83GC) in Los Angeles
While sensational about the group Hyena Crips pictures/graffiti started appearing out the blue (especially on burners accounts) on Soical medias sites like Reddit.com under the post 8trays tags at Metro PCS on Grand River & Telegraph locals questioned & made fun of the tags in the comments & ask what does it mean ? they responded was “West 7 Miles 83 Gangsters Crip” & that they was connected to the 83GC aa clear lie to manys. While other believed it Natives asking who got permission to start 83GC branch in Detroit even going far as making a YouTube video https://youtu.be/dbi_O-wwN_Q Explaining there ties to the West Coast “Backwest” subset of 83GC in California.Many more 5 Points/Michigan Natives got curious & started making posts & asking questions online in forums sites asking more information of the Hyena Crips “West 7 Miles 83 Gangsters Crips” at the time . Some included asking question like Who got permission to start an 83GC & there history https://www.reddit.com/r/CrimeInTheD/comments/1kct4un/who_got_permission_to_start_a_83gc_in_detroit At some point the Hyena Crips even released a self made territory map that quickly got picked apart in reddit in one or more communities. https://www.reddit.com/r/CrimeInTheD/comments/1kdiqp1/wall_banger_tinyjoker_makes_up_clique_adds_it_to/ & https://www.reddit.com/r/CaliConnection/comments/1lo1agw/tinyjoker_the_detroit_nela_claims_diamond_from/ Locals and savvy users pointed out the inaccuracies with many call it pure fantasy or even trolling.while the upvotes ratios low. There is over 10+ comments mostly of fake burner accounts made by Hyena crips defending the 83 Scoregang Gangsters Crips. Most real comments claim there wasn’t no 83 in Detroit meaning it’s increasingly evident that there wasn’t no 83 Gangsters crips line nowhere in Detroit. When the “Scoregang crips” got exposed for this they was quickly to change there Identity & rebrand to the now “Hyena Crips” & in a desperate attempt to clear there name. They started posting in subreddits explaing that 83GC stands for not 83 Gangsters. But 8 = Hyena 3 = Crips G= Got =C control & claims that “they the original 83”. In the comments of the now downvoted post https://www.reddit.com/r/CaliConnection/comments/1mjnefg/etgc_started_in_michigan_not_california_and_they/ . Users mock it and played it off as trolling yet again. The Hyena crips last attempt was there infamous post on the platform that got them permanently banned on Reddit is when the Detroit News Articles posted self claims reports that the Hyena Crips Member made themselves. It clear to many a attempt for redemption to proves to what they call “critics” that there is a 83GC in Detroit & now claims they not connected to them. Once again people debated whether or not it was true. And the unanimous decision was made in https://www.reddit.com/r/CrimeInTheD/comments/1njchqj/comment/nepisec/?context=3 comments. They stated that “you not beefing with nobody you a blogger & a painter” “keep this shit off reddit”.
• Hyena Crips members & Youtube videos claims under post they is connected to the 83GC 9 months ago, now members is stating they not and they is Hyena Crips after Natives stated there is no 83 gangsters in Detroit.
•In Desperation they change there names to the “Hyena Crips” a real gang located in Brooklyn New york. And stated they have no ties to “West Coast” in general or the real Hyena Crips.
• Detroit News stated that the information they base on thr gang is all purported & self claims as Law enforcement in the news states they never heard of the “Scoregang crips or Tinyjoker” which leads many people to suggest the entire narrative is more online myth than reality.
Many of Hyena Crips False Accusations on Gangs base in California
The whole situation gets even more bizarre after a clash with a Rolling 20 Blood Member as well as the fascination of the WSDMGC73 Rap group was accused by the Hyena Crips of not being “official” & “respected” in there city as well as accusing them of being “Fake”,”not connected to no Gangs”, & Trying to accuse them of making up fake indictments involving the majority of East Side Gangs decades ago even going as far as make Reddit post & websites about the Gang to use there name as “boost in reputation” as well as mock them Another piece of the internet-driven lore rather than any evidence. All the Hyena Crips claims hadn’t been proven with no legit evidence or sources confirming there Theories as after being repeatedly proven wrong by others they start to backpedal first claiming “there is no 73 gang in California” then scrambling to say “there is one they just extinct” The shift in there story feel more like damage control than based in fact. Being from Michigan & Trying to connect California politics through online theories & post is not how you get street cred as many would call it. Street credibility comes from reality not reports & misrepresentation ties to known groups thay can lead to confusion, unnecessary tension, & lost respect. Let keep the record straight & stop spreading misinformation
• Hyena crips Claims Rollin 20 Member never been to La, on the Alleged member social media account it shows him on Adams & Normandie. A known Rollin 20’s Bloods territory
•Hyena crips Claims both sides of 73GC & 73HC doesn’t exist. But sites like Streetgangs.com & UntiedGangs states both sides is real as well as comments dating back decades ago stating there 2 sides & they function differently & fall under different protocols. “How ever this gang is very very very active…..super active….this hood is the lower generation of the ws 73 low down hustla crip…the lil homies decided to push the gcard sence all the hustler set turn nhood…..don’t let this foo you…these young g are kers from this turf….they even run a portion of san bernardino….d…they are babies of the 83 gangster to the north…..florence and normanlive is where they kick it
• Hyena Crips Claims Rap group involved with 73GC is “just kids from Clarkson lying about California ties no real evidence of them being from 73GC”. A simple search into California rap group and their ties to 73GC it shows they’re link to the younger generation of the gang, no injunctions or indictment’s needed since they portrays themselves more of a rap group than a gang. abbreviations also use by the rap group is a clear indication that they is connected to the (westside) section of 73GC
•Hyena Crips Claims the 2009 Gang Indictment involving majority of East side Gangs has been posted on reddit by “73GC” members cause “the name of the title divides the 2”. Only assumptions With no real proof, evidence, or even a email address connected to the reddit account associate with 73GC’s, in reality typical Online website error. As many widely accept that there W/S 73 & a E/S 73 often putting the 2 sides together in posts like the post on Reddit.

Conclusion
At the end of the day, the so-called “Hyena Crips” appear to be more myth than reality — a name floating around with no real presence beyond vague rumors and a single interview where even law enforcement expressed confusion. With no concrete ties to Scoregang or any known Crip sets, and lacking any real street credibility, it’s no surprise that many longtime residents of Detroit’s 5 Points area don’t take them seriously. In fact, their actions and false narratives have earned them more disrespect than recognition.
From pushing conspiracy theories to falsely claiming affiliations with established California gangs, it seems they’re more focused on forcing broken puzzle pieces together than actually representing anything real. Trying to insert themselves into West Coast gang culture from across the country only makes the picture clearer: the Hyena Crips are seen by many for what they truly are — fake, misguided, and irrelevant.
